2018 DARTS Woody Contest

What: 2018 DARTS Woody Contest
When: Sunday July 8, 2018
            Winch Masters to have winches in place by 9:00 AM
            Pilot's at 9:30 AM
            First round started after pilot's meeting
Where: Club Field, Twin Towers Area Park, Fairborn, OH
Why: To have fun!
Event Type: AMA Thermal Duration, mixed launch

                     Seeded Man-on-Man Thermal Duration
                     25 foot landing tapes, 100 points max, 1 point per 3 inches
                     TBD min maxes
Entry fee: $20 per day or $30 for both days
Contest Director: Ken Davidson

The following construction guidelines will be followed (Woody Rules by Ray Hayes):

1. Wing and Stab are built up from wood
2. No restriction on spar construction or materials
3. No Molded D-Tube leading edge construction
4. Fuselage can be wood, glassed wood or molded Fiberglass including the fin
5. Carbon reinforcement can be used on any part of the structure

9 flyers flew a total of 6 rounds in 3 flight groups. 10 min maxes were flown.
